Jennings County E-911 Communications Center provides emergency service to the citizens of North Vernon and Jennings County, Indiana. Our center handles calls for the North Vernon Police Department, Jennings County Sheriff's Department, Jennings County EMS Rescue 20, Indiana State Police, Conservation Officers, seven volunteer fire departments, PHI Dove Flight, and various other Departments.
In a given month, our department answers hundreds of telephone calls and provides a human voice for county agencies when those offices are closed. We have been in continuous operation for over 10 years providing uninterrupted service.
We at Jennings County 911 are the first of the first responders. We are committed to answering 9-1-1, non-emergency calls, and radio with professionalism, integrity, and compassion while efficiently dispatching police, fire, and emergency medical services. Customer service is essential to our success; we treat everyone with empathy and respect. It is our goal to provide the public with an appropriate response to their calls for assistance.
We are dedicated to serving as the vital link between the public and public safety organizations through responsiveness and technical excellence while in partnership with our users and employees.
