The Jennings County Election Office will be open for voting Saturday, Oct. 28, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and on Saturday, Nov. 4, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Election Office is located in the Jennings County Courthouse at Vernon.

The deadline to receive applications for absentee ballots by mail is Monday, Oct. 30. The deadline for the election office to receive ballots mailed, confined or in person is Monday, Nov. 6.

Polls throughout Jennings County will be open Tuesday, Nov. 7, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Classes for poll workers, clerks and judges will be Thursday, Nov. 2, with sessions at 6 and 7 p.m. in the Circuit Courtroom in the courthouse. Classes for poll inspectors will be held Saturday, Nov. 4, at 8 a.m. in the courthouse.
